The Difference Between Grace and Blessing?

 Grace

Grace is the power of God that draws one unto salvation. Jesus said in John 6:44, that no one can come to him except the Father who has sent him draws him. There is grace in the hands of God. Or we can say, Grace is divine help. Someone who operates in grace does not struggle in his or her career or calling. And, the first step into grace is to know your God-chosen career or calling.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
    before you were born I set you apart;
    I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. Jeremiah 1:5.

Paul in Ephesians 2 :8-9 called Grace the gift of God unto salvation. There are two categories of gift:

1. Gift unto Salvation
2. Gift unto Damnation.

Whatsoever the devil gives to you would lead you into damnation. And whatsoever God gives to you leads you into salvation. Satan gives stone instead of bread and serpent instead of fish. His vision is to destroy. While God's intention is to save.

Blessing

Blessings are good tidings or the good things of life. Life has two sides- the sweet side (blessing), and the bitter side (curses). When God blesses you he reveals the sweet part or path of life to you. But when He curses, He shows you the bitter side of life.

In Deuteronomy chapter 28,  Moses read the blessings to the children of Israel,

 If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:

You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.

The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.

You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.

Deuteronomy 28:1-7.
