The Divine Mandate

The divine mandate is what is ordained by God for you to fulfill. Life is all about fulfilling prophecies; not about what to eat or what to drink. Jesus came from Heaven to fulfill the prophecies written concerning him.  According to Luke 4:16-21, Christ read the mandate of his ministry on earth.

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Without the divine or prophetic mandate there would be no ministry.  We have to receive the mandate, believe and live it on earth in order for us to live a glorious and fulfilling life.In the book of Revelation chapter 5 John cried because of the mandate of many souls is being sealed. That means a lot of people will end up living an unfulfilled life, because of a sealed mandate unless they follow Jesus as their master. We have the mandate of marriage. We have the mandate of ministry.

The mandate is also what is written concerning you. Our life depends on the things God has shown to us, not by power nor by might. For us to finish our journey on earth in triumph, we do not need a mantle as the seven sons of Sceva, we need a mandate as Paul the Apostle and Jesus. Even demons respect mandate not mantle.

A mantle is someone else work you're trying to reuse, redo etc, but the mandate is your divine or prophetic assignment from God. Like Apostle Paul was to turn the Gentiles from darkness to light. Jesus was to redeem mankind from the hands of the devil. The devil knew these mandates and trembles, because in every divine mandate there is an authority given  (mouth and wisdom [Luke 21:15] ) . 

The divine mandate brings principalities and powers of darkness to their knees. The demons begged Jesus to send them to the pigs according to Luke 8:32, 

And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.   

To Receive the Mandate

To receive the divine mandate you have to:

1. Be a follower of Jesus and not pastors. You have to follow the master to receive this mystery.

2. Pray for God to open your eyes. Pray in the spirit.

3. Be addicted to the word of God. In Luke 4, you saw how Jesus opened the book till he found where it was written concerning him. Many today are too tired or passive about the word of God. They don't see the scripture as direct message from God, so they loose out from receiving the divine mandate.
