Just as drugs are taken in doses, the anionting is likewise. Jesus gave a blind man twice the anionting. The first dose was to expose the root cause of the illness; while the second was to heal, though this kind is a special miracle.
Mark 8;22-25,
22 They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him. 23 He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”24 He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.”
25 Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.
At first when Jesus puts his hands on him he saw men like trees, that's a revelation of were his sight was tied to. The trees are trees of sickness and curses. Every evil thing originates from that tree of good and evil, which is the sycamore tree as seen in Luke 19;1-8. Jesus ask Zacheus to come down from the cursed tree, so that he can partake of the blessings of God. Even Paul expanded on it in Galatian 3:13-14, saying that cursed is every man that hangs on the tree. It's a tree of bad health, anger, death, poverty and pain.
Galatians 3:13-14,
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.” 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
How to Receive the Spiritual Drug
1. Believing in Jesus is paramount in receiving the anionting. The man that was blind in Mark 8:22-26 did not argue with Jesus, rather he believed. If we can believe a doctor's prescription, why can't we believe in the creator of life.
2. Take a step of faith. The anionting would be ineffective if you are not ready to act. The book of Acts showed how the disciples acted on the word of God. If you don't take a step when the anionting instructs you to, you won't receive the benefits of it. Jesus gave instruction to some people he healed in the bible.
3. Pray. Prayer provokes the anionting.
