Sickness comes from two ways;
1. Unbelief
2. Attack from hell.
In Hebrew chapter 2:15-19, the bible speaking:
" While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief."
When we hardened our heart against the laws and knowledge of God, and health advise from medical experts then we are exposing our spirit and soul to sickness. We need to be guided by the HolySpirit in order for us to be spiritually and physically healthy.
Sin is Satan's Immoral Nature; Satan's mystery of iniquity in making man a fall from grace. For SIN is idolatry, which means the worship of the body instead of the head (Christ).
Attack From Hell
Hell is the domain of darkness. This darkness, coven and cohorts promote carnality, lawlessness, hatred, idolatry and fornication. Jesus in Revelation 2:20 spoke against Jezebel for promoting those acts:
"Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols."
Why do they promote those acts? They do so in order for them to seal many souls in perdition. To place a mark on them for eternal destruction.
Does Faith Healing Works?
We have to look at this from different perspectives. Faith healing works by mysteries (prophetic knowledge- light). Faith healing also works by virtue.
Mystery
Mystery is prophetic knowledge or light, or prophecies to be fulfilled. The heavens are higher that the earth, therefore every vision (voice from heaven) must be fulfilled. A lot of people are spiritually blind, so faith healing can't work for them. Quoting the scripture is not the solution, but hearing from the Spirit of God is the solution.
Virtue
Virtue is life. It is life of God that fortifies and protects our soul. The woman with the issue of blood received this protective life of God. It's a kind of fire around the soul. The demons, witches and wizards were able to suck her blood before because there was no fire in her. You can see in the book of Exodus how the tree was on fire but it wasn't burning it- the fire fortifies it. That fire is a life called virtue.
We receive virtue through praying in the Spirit. When you pray in the Spirit, you fortify yourself with virtue- tongue of fire(Acts 2:1-4)..
Conclusion
Faith healing is real, and it is how our health can be promoted. When God promotes you, He changes your name; He changes your story.
"Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise, take up your bed and walk’?But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) 'I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.'And immediately the man got up, picked up his mat, and walked out in front of them all. As a result, they were all astounded and glorified God, saying, 'We have never seen anything like this!' ". (Mark 2:9-12).
