3 Types of Enemies of A Christain

February 20, 2018
A christian is surrounded by angry and wicked people who can be enemies.  And of course I think everyone has one enemy or the other.  First of all, i will like us to know who an enemy is. An enemy is an unwanted person- A person you do not want. Just like a weed, so is an enemy! It is believed by many that Satan is the only  enemy that a christian has. If this is true, then Satan doesn't have a kingdom. "And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?" (Matthew 12:26). Those in Satan's kingdom are as important as Satan.

Enemies can be divided into 3 groups:

3 Types of  Enemies of A Christian

1. Enemies of Conscience. These are enemies that are obvious to the Law ( law of your country or probably the Jewish law for the Israelite). These enemies are law breakers. Example, thieves, robbers, fraudsters, murderers and drug smugglers etc. No wise person will opens his house for such kind of  persons to have access to: "But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up"(Matthew 24:43).

2. Enemies of  Lust. These  type of enemies are under the power of Satan, in other words Satan makes use of them because of  their weakness. They are the enemies Jesus said we should pray for: "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you"(Matthew 5:44). These enemies do not know what they do, that is,  they don't know the  power using them to do what they do. Jesus prayed for this kind of enemies while on the cross: "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots"(Luke 23:34).

Peter was an example of  this kind of enemy by denying Jesus not once, but thrice. Jesus looked at him (Peter) and he began to feel remorse and sorrow for his errors. Peter committed a sin not unto death according to 1 John 5:16, "If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it." Judas was not prayed for, but Peter was. This kind of enemies is a slave of sin.

3. Friends of  Hell. These type of enemies knows  very well the power that works in them. They are sent by Satan. They are children of  Satan. These are witches and wizards especially, false prophets etc. They are sons of perditions! "Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?" (John 6:70). 'While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled" (John 17:12). "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition" (2 Thessalonians 2:3).

Witches and Wizards are the greatest enemies of a christian, they are the gates of  Hell that Jesus said will not prevail against the church of  God, and you are God's temple. This is something we must understand, just as God cannot do anything except by a prophet (Amos 3:6), so Satan cannot do  anything except by Witches and Wizards.
